Notice of Auction: Docks & Harbors waterfront sales permits
The City and Borough of Juneau Docks & Harbors Department has two waterfront sales permits available for the 2020 season. Waterfront sales permits are required to sell tours at CBJ’s cruise ship docks. If more than two applications for the permits are received, Docks & Harbors will conduct an outcry auction on Tuesday, February 11, at 2 p.m. in City Hall Conference Room 224. The two waterfront sales permits are 3-year permits with a 3-year renewable option.
Individuals wishing to bid at the auction must submit a completed application to the Port Director’s office by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 7. A bid deposit of $30,000 is required to bid. Application packets are available at the Port Director’s Office in the Seadrome Building, across from the Four Points Hotel in Downtown Juneau, and on the Docks & Harbors website.
Winning bidders must pay the bid price in full by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11. The minimum bid for each permit is $30,000.
