No new COVID-19 cases reported in Juneau today

No new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Juneau today. Cumulatively, Juneau has had 1,158 residents test positive for COVID-19 since March and 142 nonresidents. There are 18 active cases in Juneau and 1,277 individuals have recovered. All individuals with active cases of COVID-19 are in isolation. The cluster associated with the small Juneau business is still at 10 individuals with four recovered.

Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) reports 137 new people identified with COVID-19 – 126 are residents and 11 are nonresidents. Alaska has had 56,745 cumulative resident cases of COVID-19 and a total of 2,435 nonresidents.

Vaccine information

According to DHSS, 7,858 people in the Juneau region have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine – either Pfizer or Moderna – and 5,349 have completed both doses. Statewide, 160,637 people have received their first dose and 108,336 have completed both doses.
