No new COVID-19 cases reported in Juneau

No new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Juneau today. Cumulatively, Juneau has had 1,197 residents test positive for COVID-19 and 145 nonresidents. There are nine active cases in Juneau and 1,328 individuals have recovered. All individuals with active cases of COVID-19 are in isolation.

Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) reports 166 new people identified with COVID-19 – 163 are residents and three are nonresidents. Alaska has had 60,491 cumulative resident cases of COVID-19 and a total of 2,574 nonresidents.

Vaccine information

According to DHSS, as well as data reported from the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, 14,607 people in Juneau have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 7,854 are fully vaccinated.

Statewide, 237,302 people have received their first dose, according to DHSS, and 166,702 are fully vaccinated.
