No new cases of COVID-19 reported in Juneau today

No new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Juneau today. Cumulatively, Juneau has had 1,100 residents test positive for COVID-19 since March and 139 nonresidents. There are 18 active cases in Juneau and 1,216 individuals have recovered. All individuals with active cases of COVID-19 are in isolation. There is currently one person with COVID-19 hospitalized at Bartlett Regional Hospital. The Wildflower Court cluster remains at 12 cases with 10 recovered.

Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) today reports 186 new people identified with COVID-19 – 166 are residents and 20 are nonresidents. Alaska has had 53,991 cumulative resident cases of COVID-19 and a total of 2,106 nonresidents.

Vaccine information

According to DHSS, 5,801 people in the Juneau region have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine – either Pfizer or Moderna – and 3,628 have completed both doses. Statewide, 114,117 people have received their first dose and 48,153 have completed both doses.
