Morning swim cancelled at downtown pool

Starting Tuesday, September 15, the City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation Department is canceling the morning swim session from 5:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Monday-Friday at the Augustus Brown Swimming Pool. This is due to current staffing shortages. The two Juneau Pools facilities will remain open for public use at the following schedule:

Augustus Brown Swimming Pool

• Monday-Friday, 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.
• Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Sunday, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Dimond Park Aquatic Center

• Monday, 5 a.m. – 1 p.m. & 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
• Tuesday-Friday, 5 a.m. – 3 p.m. & 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
• Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Sunday, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
