Marine Way lane closure on Friday for City Hall time/temp sign removal

Contractors with the City and Borough of Juneau are removing City Hall’s time and temperature display sign on Friday, March 1. The southbound lane of Marine Way in front of City Hall will be closed and traffic will be shifted to one lane to allow access for a boom truck. Work is scheduled to take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to use caution in the area and to look for traffic signs and controllers.
The time and temperature display will be replaced and a similar traffic disruption is expected later in March.
