Kax̱dig̱oowu Héen Elementary School and Dzantik’i Heeni Middle School campuses closed until August 15

Due to construction the following school campus closures are in effect:

• The Kax̱dig̱oowu Héen Elementary School (formerly Riverbend Elementary School) campus will be closed to the public until August 15. A temporary school office is open in the Mendenhall Valley Public Library, located at 3025 Dimond Park Loop, on Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. For questions, please contact Kax̱dig̱oowu Héen Elementary School at (907) 796-5700.
• The Dzantik’i Heeni Middle School campus will be closed to the public until August 15. For new student registration, please call (907) 463-1899.

Students, families, and all members of the public are asked to please respect these closures and stay off campus prior to the first day of school in order to facilitate the completion of interior repair and roofing replacement projects. Closures will not affect the August 16 student start date.
