Juneau Residents Invited to Share City Budget Input at April 15 Assembly Listening Session
The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) invites Juneau residents to share their input on the next city budget during the Assembly Listening Session on Wednesday, April 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Assembly Chambers and online, and more details can be found at bit.ly/4bn40El.
The Assembly Listening Session is another opportunity, provided through CBJ’s Community Compass initiative, for the public to share their thoughts on the next city budget. During the meeting, Juneau residents are invited to share public testimony with Assembly members after a presentation on the budget process and the City Manager’s draft budget. Testimony from the meeting, along with from the Community Compass survey, workshops, and additional input form, will be considered by the Assembly before they approve the final fiscal year 2027 city budget by June 15.
Residents interested in testimony can either sign-up at the back of the Assembly Chambers before the meeting for in-person participation, or call the Municipal Clerk at 907-586-5278 before 4 p.m. for online participation. Residents can also share comments about the city budget by filling the Additional Input Form before April 1 or emailing [email protected].
