
Infrastructure Week celebrates Docks & Harbors projects including New Visitor Kiosk
Join the City and Borough of Juneau Docks & Harbors Department in celebrating Infrastructure Week May 13-17. The goal of the week is to highlight the community’s reliance on critical infrastructure and how it enhances the local and regional economy, quality of life, and safety. During its upcoming May 13 Regular Meeting, the Juneau Assembly will make a proclamation designating the week as Infrastructure Week.
Docks & Harbors kicks off the week Monday, May 13 at 12 p.m. in City Hall Chambers with a presentation on the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Alaska Report Card. The rest of the week will feature small ribbon cutting ceremonies at various Docks & Harbors facilities. These projects primarily emphasize the maintenance Docks & Harbors has focused on over the winter. Events take place at 12 p.m. noon:
