Have questions about keeping employees safe as your business reopens? Ask a public health nurse.

May 11, 2020 – News

For both employers and employees, there may be uncertainty and fear around reopening a business during this pandemic. Having plans and good communication in place can help to alleviate some of this. Public Health Nurses from the Alaska Section of Public Health Nursing are a resource.

If you are reopening your business, or bringing employees back into the office from teleworking, local Public Health Nurses are available to help review plans you have in place to protect employees, go over what happens if an employee tests positive for COVID-19, and provide information to employees about COVID-19.

To reach a Public Health Nurse, go to the City and Borough of Juneau’s COVID-19 Request Assistance form, choose Business/Organization in the dropdown menu, fill in the simple form, and check the “Public Health Nurse Guidance on Business Reopening” box before you hit submit.
