Hank Harmon Public Range Ribbon Cutting and Grand Reopening
Juneau Parks & Recreation invites the community to celebrate the recent upgrades at the Hank Harmon Public Range with two special events.
The celebration begins with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, September 26 at 12 p.m. at the range. This milestone event will feature remarks from CBJ officials, the Alaska Department of Fish & Game, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and other partners who helped make these improvements possible. The upgrades enhance safety, accessibility, and modernize this valued community space.
Festivities continue with a Grand Reopening on Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families and community members are invited to enjoy free BBQ, explore booths from local businesses and partners, and watch exciting live demonstrations including trick shots, a cowboy action demo, and steel plate shooting with the Juneau Rifle & Pistol Club and more. Earplugs will be provided, and eye protection will be available on the firing line.
Both events will be held at the Hank Harmon Public Range, 6200–5866 Montana Creek Rd, Juneau, AK 99801.
