Delivery & curbside pickup options for grocery stores & pharmacies

If you’re avoiding indoor public areas, here’s a roundup of local grocery and pharmacy options for delivery and curbside pickup:

Curbside pickup

  • Foodland IGA: Send an email with a grocery list and your phone number to [email protected]. Payment will be processed over the phone. Call 586-3101 for more information. No minimum dollar amount to use service.
  • Fred Meyer: Place order online at fredmeyer.com/i/ways-to-shop/pickup. $35 minimum for curbside.
  • Rainbow Foods: Send an email with a grocery list and your phone number to [email protected]. There is a $25 minimum order. Orders need to be submitted before noon for same day pickup. Payment will be made over the phone.
  • Safeway: Place order online for curbside pickup at safeway.com. $30 minimum for curbside.
  • Super Bear IGA: Place order online for curbside pickup at superbeariga.com/shop

Delivery

  • Instacart (delivery of groceries): Use the Instacart app or website to create a shopping list for Costco, Fred Meyer, or Safeway and have the groceries delivered to a Juneau address. Please note that this service may not be available for all Juneau neighborhoods. Also, delivery fee applies.
  • Fred Meyer: You can also place an order online for delivery at fredmeyer.com/i/ways-to-shop/delivery. Delivery fee applies.
  • Safeway: You can also place an order online for delivery safeway.com. $30 minimum for delivery. Delivery fee applies.
  • CAPITAL AKcess offers grocery delivery for seniors and other paratransit riders who require this extra support. To learn more about the service or to make a delivery reservation, call CAPITAL AKcess at 1-844-4AK-CESS or 463-6194.

Pharmacy

  • Fred Meyer pharmacy offers drive-through service. Call 789-6533 for more information.
  • Juneau Drug Co. Pharmacy offers free delivery. Call 586-1233 for more information.
  • Ron’s Apothecary Shoppe offers curbside prescriptions. Call 789-0458 for more information.
  • Safeway pharmacy offers delivery for $10 delivery fee. Must be in by noon for same day delivery. Pharmacy can also send prescriptions through the mail for free. Call 523-2060 for more information.
