Celebrate Earth Day with Free Movie in the Park April 22

CBJ Parks & Recreation will host a free Movie in the Park showing of “Wall-E” (PG) on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22 at 1:30 p.m. The showing will take place at the Dimond Park Field House, 2961 Riverside Drive, and includes door prizes and take-home activity kits.

This event is free thanks to the generous sponsorship of ASEA/AFSCME Local 52, Juneau Chapter. Tickets for a prize drawing will be available at the door; the drawing will take after the movie (must be present to win). Following the show, movie-goers will also be able to pick up kid-friendly DIY Earth Day activity kits to take home.

Doors to the Field House will open 15 minutes prior to show time. No reservations are required; simply show up. Please note that no food or drinks (besides water) are allowed on the turf in the Field House. Feel free to bring chairs, pillows, blankets, or sleeping bags.
