CCFR conducting emergency drills on West Douglas Pioneer Road Saturday, March 7

Capital City Fire/Rescue will be using the West Douglas Pioneer Road on Saturday, March 7, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. to conduct emergency rope rescue scenarios at the rock quarry located about a mile from the entrance. CCFR will be using two all-terrain vehicles for transport. The Pioneer Road will remain open to public use, but please be cautious of ATV activity particularly at the beginning and end of CCFR’s practice time.
