CBJ Streets Division recruiting for Equipment Operator

The City and Borough of Juneau Engineering & Public Works Department Streets Division is recruiting for a permanent full-time Equipment Operator I. As a part of the Street Maintenance Crew, you will perform various tasks associated with the year-round maintenance of CBJ streets. This includes operating heavy and light-duty equipment; asphalt patching; traffic control; and maintenance of vegetation, signs, barricades, fences, bridges, culverts, drainage structures, and road surfaces.

This position, located at CBJ’s Street Maintenance Shop at 7100 Glacier Highway, comes with full benefits. Starting pay is between $26.10 and $27.91 hourly depending on qualifications.
