CBJ reports three new COVID-19 cases

The City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center is reporting three new residents with COVID-19 – one is currently out of state and the two others are in Juneau. Public Health is attributing the out-of-state case to travel and the other two are under investigation.

Cumulatively, Juneau has had 897 residents test positive for COVID-19 since March and 116 nonresidents. There are 29 active cases in Juneau and 979 individuals have recovered. All individuals with active cases of COVID-19 are in isolation.

Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services today reports 495 new people with COVID-19 – 485 are residents and 10 are nonresidents. Alaska has had 41,905 cumulative resident cases of COVID-19 and a total of 1,447 nonresidents.
