CBJ now accepting automatic payment for property taxes

May 29, 2018 – News

The City and Borough of Juneau is offering a new, convenient option for paying your property taxes – have your property tax payment automatically deducted from your bank account.

To set up automatic payment for your property taxes, fill out this form: http://www.juneau.org/financeftp/documents/PropertyTaxBankDebitFormeff180417.pdf.
You can also request the form by emailing [email protected].

CBJ will initiate a bank account debit on September 25, 2018 to pay the outstanding balance of your 2018 property taxes. Completed forms and any changes must be received no later than September 4, 2018 to ensure proper handling. Submit your form by emailing [email protected]; faxing 586-5367; dropping it off at City Hall or a drop box at City Hall, Super Bear IGA or Foodland IGA; or by mailing it to Treasury Division, Accounts Receivable, 155 S Seward St, Juneau AK 99801.

CBJ is still accepting the following methods of paying property taxes:

  • In-person payments at City Hall during regular business hours
  • by mail to 155 S Seward Street, Juneau, AK 99801
  • through drop box locations at Super Bear IGA, Foodland IGA, and City Hall
  • Credit card payments through OfficialPayments.com or pay-by-phone at 800-272-9829; transactions are subject to a convenience fee. The CBJ jurisdiction code is 1202.
