CBJ is seeking volunteers to serve on a variety of CBJ Boards & Commissions

Application period extended to February 27, 2018

CBJ is currently seeking applicants for a variety of volunteer boards. There are approximately 30+ Boards, Commissions, Committees, and Task Forces (“boards”) so chances are, there is a board to fit your interests and abilities.

The application period has been extended to February 27 for seats on the following boards currently available:

ADVISORY BOARDS:
Americans with Disabilities Act Committee
Jensen-Olson Arboretum Advisory Board
Juneau Commission on Sustainability
Juneau Human Rights Commission
Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee
Sister Cities Committee
Treadwell Arena Advisory Board
Wetlands Review Board
Youth Activities Board

APPEAL BOARDS:
Animal Hearing Board
Board of Equalization
Building Code Board of Appeals
Personnel Board
Sales Tax Board of Appeals

Once received, applications are forwarded to the Assembly Human Resources Committee for consideration and they forward their recommendations for appointment to the Assembly for final action.
