CBJ Assembly Makes Appointments to the Airport, Docks & Harbors, and Eaglecrest Ski Area Boards
During a Special Assembly Meeting held Wednesday evening, June 24, 2026 via Zoom webinar, the City and Borough of Juneau Assembly made the following appointments to the Airport Board, Docks & Harbors Board and the Eaglecrest Ski Area Board.
AIRPORT BOARD
For the Airport Board, the Assembly reappointed David Epstein and appointed Michael Neussl to full terms running July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029; appointed Jordan Kesler to an unexpired term beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2028; reappointed Jerry Godkin to finish out a current appointment ending June 30, 2027; and reappointed Nolan Davis to the Airport Tenant Liaison seat to a one-year term beginning immediately and ending June 30, 2027.
DOCKS & HARBORS BOARD
The Assembly reappointed Shem Sooter and Thomas ‘Tyler’ Emerson and appointed Steve Box all to full terms running July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029 on the Docks and Harbors Board.
EAGLECREST SKI AREA BOARD
The Assembly reappointed Kevin Krein and appointed Sandy Hussain to full terms running July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029 and reappointed Sean O’Neill to an unexpired term beginning immediately and ending June 30, 2027 all to the Eaglecrest Ski Area Board.
The Assembly thanks outgoing Airport Board members Dennis Bedford and Jeff Redmond, outgoing Docks & Harbors Board member Clayton Hamilton and outgoing Eaglecrest Board member Hannah Shively for their service on these Empowered Boards. The Assembly appreciates those members of the community that submitted applications for consideration.
