CBJ Assembly makes appointments to Hospital Board & Planning Commission

The City and Borough of Juneau Assembly, at a Special Assembly Meeting held Thursday, December 13, 2018, made the following appointments to the Bartlett Regional Hospital Board and the Planning Commission.

Bartlett Regional Hospital Board

There were four open seats: 2 for full terms, 1 physician seat for a full term, and 1 vacant seat for a partial term. The Assembly made the following appointments to those seats:

Kenny Solomon-Gross to the vacant seat beginning immediately and expiring December 31, 2020.

Lindy Jones to the physician seat for a term beginning January 1, 2019 and expiring December 31, 2021.

Marshal Kendziorek (Reappointment) and Deborah Johnston to full three-year terms each beginning January 1, 2019 and expiring December 31, 2021.

Planning Commission

There were four open seats: 3 seats for full terms and 1 vacant seat for a partial term. The Assembly made the following appointments to those seats:

Ken Alper to the vacant seat beginning January 1, 2019 and expiring December 31, 2019.

Nathaniel Dye, (Reappointment) Shannon Crossley and Travis Arndt to full three-year terms each beginning January 1, 2019 and expiring December 31, 2021.

 

The Assembly would like to thank outgoing members Linda Thomas, Bob Storer, and Cate Buley for their service on the Bartlett Regional Hospital Board, and to Carl Greene, Dan Miller and Percy Frisby for their service on the Planning Commission. The Assembly would also like to thank all those individuals who are willing to serve and have submitted applications for consideration.
