Capital View Court & portion of 2nd Street to close Sept. 21

As part of the City and Borough of Juneau’s Douglas Highway Water Main Replacement Project Phase II, CBJ contractor Glacier State Contractors will be closing Capital View Court/2nd Street between the intersection of Douglas Highway and 1746 2nd Street beginning Monday, September 21. H Street will serve as the detour route.
The closure is anticipated to last for approximately 3 weeks to allow for the installation of new water line and the reconstruction of the roadway. Local access will be maintained for residents of the northernmost section of 2nd Street and Beach Drive.
