Capital View Court & portion of 2nd Street to close for paving on Friday, Oct. 16

As part of the City and Borough of Juneau’s Douglas Highway Water Main Replacement Project Phase II, CBJ contractor Glacier State Contractors is closing Capital View Court/2nd Street between the intersection of Douglas Highway and 1746 2nd Street for paving this Friday, October 16. The closure is expected to last from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
This section of road will be closed to all traffic during paving. Local vehicle access will not be possible during these hours. H Street will serve as the detour and residents should utilize street parking along 2nd Street outside of the work zone.
