Capital Transit implements changes to Express route & hospital bus stop starting Sept. 17

Starting Thursday, September 17, Capital Transit is implementing the following changes:

• The newly implemented Express route that runs between the Downtown Transit Center and the Mendenhall Mall will have a slight route adjustment. The bus will bypass the area between the Federal Building and the Twin Lakes area. That area will still be serviced every 30 minutes by either a Route 3 or 4 bus.
• Due to continuing construction during the Hospital Drive Reconstruction Project, the Capital Transit bus stop at Bartlett Regional Hospital will be intermittently moved to the parking lot across from the Juneau Medical Center. Signs will be posted at the bus stop alerting passengers when the stop has been moved.
