Basin Road closed for paving Friday noon to 7 pm; intermittent closures today

Basin Road will be closed for paving this Friday, October 15, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. New asphalt pavement will be placed between 900 Basin Rd and the wood-decked bridge. The road will be barricaded on Friday near 900 Basin Rd and no through traffic will be permitted during the closure. Access to the Mt. Roberts Trailhead, Perseverance Basin, and Flume Trail will NOT be available from Basin Rd during this time.  

To prepare for the paving, construction flaggers will be on the road today, October 14, and short, intermittent closures will occur while the existing asphalt is being removed.
