Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Display Delayed to July 4

July 3, 2026 – News

Due to poor weather today, July 3, the Juneau Fireworks Crew is postponing the annual fireworks show by 24 hours. Showers and some gusty winds are expected to last into the early evening, preventing the Juneau Fireworks Crew from being able to safely load and prepare the fireworks display for tonight.

The show will begin tomorrow, July 4 at 11:59 p.m. to end the Independence Day holiday. Like in previous years, the show will last 22 minutes and can be viewed from Downtown Seawalk. The display is operated by the Juneau Fireworks Crew, a group of licensed pyrotechnic specialists with a strong understanding of safety standards.
