Airport to Acknowledge US Coast Guard Birthday
August 3, 2021 – News
In recognition of the United States Coast Guard’s birthday tomorrow, August 4, the Juneau International Airport will be flying the USCG flag on the airport terminal’s flag pole array. This is to show support for Coast Guard service members and veterans.
Additionally, the airport intends to serve the same recognition to the service members and veterans of other branches of the armed forces – Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force. On each service’s respective birthday, the airport will fly the branch flag to recognize the commitment of our service members and veterans.
