2024 CBJ voter information guide now available

The voter information guide for the October 1, 2024 CBJ Regular Municipal Election is now available for download in PDF format. Copies will be mailed to all Juneau voters and should begin to arrive in mailboxes on Saturday, September 7.

Paper copies will also be available at all Juneau Public Library branches and the City Hall Heritage Way entrance beginning next week.

The voter information guide includes a sample ballot and information about the three propositions up for vote:

  • Proposition No. 1: General Obligation Bond – Public Safety Communication Infrastructure
  • Proposition No. 2: Ship-Free Saturdays
  • Proposition No. 3: General Obligation Bond – Reconstruct Juneau Douglas Wastewater Treatment Plant

Information for Proposition 2 includes statements both in favor of and in opposition to the proposition, provided by independent groups advocating for those positions. CBJ thanks each statement writer for their time and willingness to contribute to the guide.

Voters interested in learning more about Proposition 3 are encouraged to explore the FAQ at juneau.org/wastewater-bond-2024.

Ballots for this election will be mailed to registered Juneau voters beginning September 12. Voters can return their ballots by postal mail or at one of several secure ballot drop boxes throughout Juneau. In-person Vote Centers will be open from September 16 through October 1 at the Mendenhall Valley Library and the City Hall Assembly Chambers. The last day to vote is Tuesday, October 1. All ballots must be postmarked or returned by this date.
