CBJ MUNICIPAL ELECTION UNOFFICIAL RESULTS UPDATED 10/10/2023

The CBJ Election Staff has processed all ballots received through October 10 that have been approved for counting. Those results are posted on the CBJ Elections webpage at https://juneau.org/clerk/elections.

The remaining ballots to process and count are those that were cast as Questioned or Special Needs Ballots at a Vote Center, Fax/E-ballots, and those awaiting a cure letter response. The CBJ Elections team continues to receive ballots via USPS and will process any of those that are eligible with the next round of unofficial results published the evening of Friday, October 13 prior to the final review by the Canvass Review Board.

Those ballots in pending/cure status include ballot return envelopes that are missing information such as a signature, personal identifier, or other reasons. CBJ voters are asked to check their mail and respond to any cure letters no later than Monday, October 16 so that their ballots may be forwarded for additional review and counting, if eligible.

The Canvass Review Board will meet October 16 & 17 to review and certify the election. Final results will be posted online once the Canvass Review Board and Election Official certify the election on October 17. Certification may be delayed by up to 3 days on a case-by-case basis as may be required.

Full election details are online at https://juneau.org/clerk/elections. Anyone with questions about this election can call the Ballot Processing Center at 907-586-5278, option 4 between 9am-4pm Monday through Friday.
