We have not seen any significant precipitation in the last several days. Temperatures have been near freezing. This has given much of the snowpack time to settle and bond.

The primary concern is still the wind slabs that built at upper elevations during the last storm cycle early in the week as well as the slabs that are building currently.

We had very little snow down low but did see a fair amount at our up most elevations. That snow has stayed cold and available for transport.

The east winds today will increase danger in the urban environment. Especially this afternoon into tomorrow as winds continue to build the slabs on the lee slopes.

Natural avalanches are still somewhat unlikely with not much snow available for transport. But human triggered avalanches remain possible in isolated locations.

Have a great day!!!
