The National Weather Service Forecasts-

Temperatures are hovering about 31f degrees this morning at the Eaglecrest Summit and 34f at the Top of the tram. The Ski Area base is showing 36f.

We received about 1/3' of precipitation in the last 36 hours. We have not received any significant snowfall on the lower elevations. Upper elevations may have seen as much as 4\".

Winds have been fairly calm and currently are 5mph out of the East at Eaglecrest summit and are calm at the tram summit.

This new snow has not added much additional load to the snowpack yet be aware there was minor weakness in windloaded areas from the previous storm.

Also be aware that at upper elevations near summit and ridgeline there may be some new small windslabs developing.

But for the most part with low precip volumes and near freezing temperatures what little snow we are getting is pasting in and bonding fairly well.

Avalanche Danger is LOW at this time. Natural Avalanches are Unlikely and yet there is a slight possibility of human triggered avalanches in places.

Temps are to stay near freezing. Precip volumes are to remain low today. Avalanche danger will remain low during this time. Tomorrow as precip rates increase look to see avalanche danger increase.

Be safe out there and have a great day.
