Hi Temps around 49... Wow.

We received quite a bit of rain earlier in the week. This event settled the snow a great deal. The snowpack also developed good drainage channels for the time being to deal with any additional rains.

Although with the temperatures above freezing and continued precip there is a slight chance of avalanches occurring still in steep areas with few anchors.

Temperatures rose to 47 degrees yesterday at the Mt Roberts Tram Summit. The snowpack settled nearly an additional 10cm during this warm period.

With conditions drying out and temps slightly cooler today avalanche danger is LOW. Yet be aware wet snow avalanches that are small in size may still occur in isolated places as snows continue to clean itself off of the steep rocky unanchored places.
