The National Weather Service Forecasts-

Today- Increasing clouds. Chance of snow in the afternoon. Highs around 33. Light winds becoming southeast 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight- Cloudy. Chance of snow. Lows 23 to 29. Light winds.

Thursday- Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming sunny. Highs around 34. Light winds.

We have seen several days of sun and calm after several days of rains to our local summits. The snowpack is quite stable at this time. Avalanche Danger is LOW today.

With less than 1\" new snow in the forecast avalanche danger will remain low... Temps should warm a little over the next 24 hours and winds should remain light limiting windloading.

Always be looking for glide cracks and areas of glide to know when instability increases to this hazard in regions. If you see glide cracks simply avoid those areas.

Currently temps are 20f at Eaglecrest and 21f at the Tram Summits. Eaglecrest base is a bit colder at 17f. Winds are mild at 1-3mph.

Have a great day.
