The applicant is requesting a Conditional Use Permit to develop a 45,000 square foot, three-story, medical office building in a Light Commercial zoning district. The proposed development is on Vintage Boulevard just north of Safeway, south of the Mendenhall Valley Post Office, and within 500 feet of Trillium Landing, Riverview Senior Community, and retail. The project site is within walking distance to transit, including the new Valley Transit Center. The project is an outpatient medical office building with services including primary and urgent care, pediatrics, lab, imaging, behavior health, optometry, and dental care.

Amendment to Seawalk (AME2022 0004)

In 2021, the Assembly repealed CBJ 49.70 Coastal Management. (Ord. 2021-13). The Assembly directed the Planning Commission to review the repealed code and make recommendations on sections that should be reestablished. On May 26, 2022, Title 49 Subcommittee voted to recommend moving a portion of the repealed CBJ Section, 49.70.960(c)(6), the Seawalk ordinance, without revisions to a new CBJ Section in 49.35 Public and Private Improvements and requests favorable recommendation to the Assembly.
