On Monday, July 1, 2024, the Municipal Clerk’s office certified the Ship-Free Saturday Initiative and received the Supplemental Petition books submitted by the School Board Recall Petition Committee for the recall of School Board President Deedie Sorensen and Vice-President Emil Mackey.
Clerk staff will be reviewing the supplemental books for the recall petitions and have a final determination on sufficiency and certification no later than Thursday, July 11.

For voters who don’t know if they are a qualified Juneau registered voter or what address they are registered to vote at can check their voter registration status on the State of Alaska Division of Election’s website at https://myvoterinformation.alaska.gov/.
