Apply for a CBJ Enterprise Board by June 1

Juneau residents are invited to apply for an Enterprise Board with the City and Borough of Juneau. Those interested in serving should fill out the CBJ Board Application by 5 p.m. on Monday, June 1 and mark which boards they are interested in.  

The following are boards currently accepting applications:  

• Airport Board – 2 seats with terms running from July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2029 and 2 partial seats for various terms.  

• Docks & Harbors Board – 3 seats with terms running July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2029. 

• Eaglecrest Ski Area Board – 2 seats with terms running July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2029. 

Upon receipt of an application, the Clerk’s Office will email applicants advanced interview questions specific to each board. Applicants who have returned interview questions will be scheduled for a 10-minute interview with the full Assembly sitting as the Assembly Human Resources Committee. 

Serving on a CBJ Board is a great way to be involved in the community. If you want to learn more about a board before applying, visit juneau.org/clerk/boards-committees. Applications stay on file for one year and are added to the appointment process as vacancies arise for the applicant’s boards or committees of interest.
