Reminder: last day to vote in CBJ election

Today, October 1, is the last day to vote in the 2024 CBJ Regular Municipal Election. If you haven’t returned your ballot yet, you can drop it in a secure drop box or vote in person until 8 p.m. tonight.

Visit a drop box:

• AEL&P, 5601 Tonsgard Court, Lemon Creek
• City Hall, 155 Heritage Way, Downtown
• Douglas Library/Fire Hall, 1016 3rd Street, Douglas
• Mendenhall Valley Library, 3025 Dimond Park, Valley
• Statter Harbor Boat Launch Parking, 11801 Glacier Highway, Auke Bay

Vote in person:

• City Hall Assembly Chambers, 155 Heritage Way
• Mendenhall Valley Library, 3025 Dimond Park Loop

Please be aware that Vote Centers are ONLY at these two locations. State precinct polling places are not open for the municipal election.

If you are unable to vote in person due to age, illness, or disability, a personal representative may pick up and deliver a ballot for you (called “Special Needs Voting”). Call 907-586-5278 option 4 immediately if you are in need of this option. Ballots must be returned by 8 p.m.
