People of CBJ: C. Allen Truitt
“There are people who are worrying about food, who are losing their jobs, who are trying to stay safe at home — and there’s this little bit that we can do to help. We’re providing food directly to their doorsteps. I appreciate all the volunteers and folks at the Salvation Army — they make this possible. I’m just connecting some people.”
C. Allen Truitt leads the Food Task Force for CBJ’s COVID-19 response team. His normal job is working at the Zach Gordon Youth Center as the Youth Development Program Coordinator. When the center eventually reopens, he’s most looking forward to playing Super Smash Brothers and Magic the Gathering with the teens and “losing five million times.”
