Planning Commission meets March 13. Here’s how to weigh in.

The City and Borough of Juneau Planning Commission meets on March 13, 7 p.m. in City Hall Assembly Chambers to consider Birch Street improvements, a marijuana retail store, and a bed and breakfast establishment in Douglas. All of these items are up for public hearing.

Paving and Drainage Improvements along Birch Lane (CSP2018 0001)

A proposal has been submitted by the CBJ Engineering Department for a review of a project to pave and make drainage improvements along Birch Lane between Julep Street and Mendenhall Blvd.

Marijuana Retail (USE2018 0001)

Juneau’s Green Market has applied for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a marijuana retail store at 263 Marine Way, in a Mixed-Use zone in downtown Juneau.

A Bed & Breakfast Establishment (USE2017 0030)

A request for a Conditional Use Permit to operate an Airbnb within a single family home at 732 Fifth Street in Douglas.
