Additional Information
Two-story wood frame building with flat roof measures 31'x 96'. The first floor has storefront windows and the second floor has double-hung windows. It has a simple decorative cornice with a low-rising front parapet, head molding and dentils. It has tongue-and-groove siding and a wooden canopy.
Historical InformationOne of the first buildings to be constructed on the mine tailings from the AJ mine that formed the extension of S. Franklin. A house of ill-repute during early days, it later served as a gambling and card game parlor. It was converted it to a triplex in the 1960s. Northway Builders remodeled it into a commercial structure in 1984.
