Regular Planning Commission Meets July 28, 2026 — Here’s How to Weigh In
The Regular Planning Commission meets Tuesday, July 28 at 6 p.m. in the Assembly Chambers. This meeting will discuss an amendment to a Conditional Use Permit, a renewal on Sand and Gravel Extraction, and a Preliminary Plat Review.

Conditional Use Permit (USE2026 0006)
An amendment to a Conditional Use Permit’s (USE2006 0042) ongoing conditions for the Channel-facing side of the building to allow a façade-mounted art installation in a Waterfront Commercial zone.
Sand and Gravel Extraction (SGE2026 0002)
A Conditional Use Permit renewal for sand and gravel extraction at Stabler Point Quarry including an expansion of blasting size and emergency operating hours in a Rural Reserve zone.
Major Subdivision – Preliminary Plat (SMP2026 0001)
A preliminary plat review for Chilkat Vistas Subdivision Phase IV, proposing the subdivision of Tract A1 to create seven single-family residential lots and extend Robbie Road. Robbie Road is proposed to terminate with this phase and not continue as a public through street.
