The Regular Planning Commission meets Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Assembly Chambers. This meeting will be a hybrid meeting held both in person and via Zoom Webinar link, and will be to discuss proposed ordinance for Title 49 Land Use Code and a Conditional Use Permit for Eduational Center.

Title 49 Land Use Code (AME2025001)

The proposed ordinance 2025-15 amends the Title 49 Land Use Code Relating to Rules of Construction, Permits, Equivalent Use Determinations, Determination of Minor Versus Major Developments, Accessory Dwelling Units, Caretaker Units, and Transition Zones.

Conditional Use Permit for Tlingit & Haida Educational Center (USE20240021)

Conditional Use Permit for Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska to use approximately two-thirds of the building formerly known as Floyd Dryden Middle School as an Educational Center primarily focused on early childhood education – ages birth through five.
