Marine Park Seawalk Closed July 10-11

The Seawalk adjacent to Marine Park will be closed to pedestrian traffic from 8 a.m. Monday, July 10 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 11.

During this time, Trucano Construction Company will be reconfiguring the capstan on the Northernmost dolphin, and will be utilizing a small forklift to move equipment.

The work is an improvement requested by the Alaska Longshore Division to enhance the safety of the line handlers while tying up the ships.

Please walk through Marine Park while construction equipment is present.
