Juneau Parks & Recreation Summer Shelter Reservations Open January 26 

The City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation Department is opening summer shelter reservations on Monday, January 26 at 8:00 a.m. Summer shelter reservations are available April 15 – September 15 and cost $35 per hour plus tax. Reservations can be made online under the Reservations tab.  

Summer shelter reservations can also be made in person starting January 26 at the Parks & Recreation main office at 1208 Glacier Avenue or by emailing this form to [email protected]. Registering online, however,  offers a greater chance of securing your desired date and time.  

If a shelter is not reserved, it is still available for public use on a first-come, first-served basis. Find information on all Parks & Recreation shelters, including location, capacity, and on-site facilities, on the shelter reservations page.
