Mission Statement & Planning Process

The mission of Downtown Douglas/West Juneau Area Plan is to create a long-term vision for the area from Sandy Beach to the Douglas Bridge that reflects current public desires and incorporates past work from relevant existing plans. This planning process began in January 2020. With your help, we will have a long-term vision for Downtown Douglas/West Juneau that will guide growth and development for the next 20 years.
