Registration is closed for the “Juneau Futures” Public Workshops. Thank you for your interest!

In this hands-on, interactive workshop, community members are stepping into the role of a City Planner.  Working in small teams to tackle real-world challenges, weigh trade-offs, and make strategic decisions about Juneau’s future – all with limited resources and an often unpredictable mix of opportunities and obstacles.

ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FULL!

Workshops:

  • Thursday, November 6 @ Generations Southeast Community Learning Center (3239 Hospital Drive) – FULL
  • Monday, November 10 @ Mendenhall Valley Public Library (3025 Dimond Park Loop) – FULL
  • Wednesday, November 19 @ Juneau MakerSpace (3915 North Douglas Hwy) – FULL

Workshops will be held 5:30-7:30 pm.

All workshop offerings are at full capacity; however, there is still an opportunity for you to participate via the Juneau Futures Online Open House! You’ll review the same Development Areas, Actions, and Future Uncertainties as the in-person workshop, and complete a survey to provide feedback on your priorities.
