At about 12:14 a.m. on May 27th, 2023, JPD received a report that two people were injured after being involved in a fight. A 24 year old female and 19 year old Erin Rorem got into an altercation while walking down Davis Avenue to a friend’s house together. Rorem struck the 24 year old female on the forearm with a knife. A 22 year old male tried to break up the fight. He was cut on the hand with the knife. An ambulance responded to treat both of the victim’s non-life threatening injuries.
Erin Rorem was contacted at about 1:09 a.m. and was later placed under arrest for two counts of Assault in the 2nd Degree. Rorem was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.
