On 10/31/2021, the Juneau Police Department received a missing persons report for 29-year-old Juneau resident, Clifford John K White. Family members reported they hadn't seen or heard from him for about the past three weeks. Friends of Mr. White reported last seeing him about two weeks ago and they heard he was possibly seen in the downtown area sometime in the past week.
Clifford White is described as a native male, approximately 5'11'" tall with a medium build and black hair. A photo of Mr. White has been posted on the JPD Facebook page.

On 03/10/2022, at about 3:47 p.m., the Juneau Police Department received a report of a deceased body found in the water, near the Sunny Drive pull out across from the Glacier Highway Access Road. JPD responded and confirmed a body was located and that it appears to be of an adult male. The identification of the body could not be confirmed. The body will be sent to the Alaska Medical Examiner's office to determine cause of death and identification. The investigation is ongoing and will updated when the identification of the body can be confirmed.

The Alaska Medical Examiner's office has positively identified the found body as 29-year-old Clifford John K White. White had been reported missing since 10/31/2021. Next of kin has been notified.
The Medical Examiners office is continuing to determine the cause of death. This case is still under investigation.
