The Juneau Police Department will have additional officers working throughout the weekend to conduct extra patrol activities, traffic safety, and DUI enforcement. The Mobile Incident Command Vehicle will be staffed and deployed out the road Saturday afternoon through Monday morning.
During the Memorial Day weekend, May 28th - May 31st, Juneau Crime Line will be doubling their DUI rewards from the usual $200, to $400. Report a DUI which leads to an arrest and you could be eligible to receive a reward.
We encourage everyone to wear seatbelts, observe speed limits, avoid distracted driving, and call for safe and sober rides if needed. Have fun and be careful while out and about during this eventful weekend!
