On December 18th, 2020 at around 11:00 a.m., JPD received a call requesting a welfare check on a Juneau resident. An officer responded to a private residence in the 2500 block of Vista Drive. Upon arrival at the residence, the officer discovered a deceased male who is believed to be the subject of the welfare check.
At the time of this release, JPD investigators are on scene and working to positively identify the man and determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
All factual allegations contained in this release are based upon preliminary investigation and are subject to change or clarification as the investigation continues. Any charges reported in this release are merely accusations and all persons named in this release are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
