On 10/20/20, the Juneau Police Department received a report of possible ongoing sexual abuse case involving an adult male and a juvenile female. JPD detectives, working with the Office of Children’s Services, conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrest of 45 year-old Leo John Fawcett.
Fawcett was arrested on 10/20/20 and charged with Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree (an unclassified felony). He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center where he was held without bail.
This case is still ongoing and additional charges may follow.
